The Ole Miss Rebels took down the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday, besting their SEC rival on the road. That win was much needed following a loss to Kentucky a week earlier.
Ole Miss looked more like the team that was seen in Weeks 1-4 when it outscored opponents by a score of 220-22. The Rebs kept the Gamecocks out of the endzone while racking up 425 yards of offense.
After the game, a few of those players and coaches let South Carolina hear about it.
Starting signal caller Jaxson Dart was one of those Rebels trolling online following the win. He referenced a now-viral play that proved costly for the Gamecocks’ defense.
Dart was sacked by freshman Dylan Stewart on a third-down play in the second half of action. After recording the takedown, Stewart received an unsportsmanlike celebration penalty for simulating his brandishing a weapon.
The flag gave the Rebels a fresh set of downs, which they’d use to extend their lead to 27-3.
Dart took a moment to troll Stewart after the win.

Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin joined in on the fun!
Kiffin shaded his opponent after taking down the home team. Much of that trolling was done in response to the treatment of one of his most recent transfer additions.
Wideout Juice Wells played at South Carolina for two seasons, being the No. 1 target for Spencer Rattler in 2022. Last year, he sat out with injury for much of the year before opting to leave for Oxford.
Wells hauled in three catches for a team-high 97 yards. Boos rained down after each of those receptions!
Players, too, made sure to put a target on Wells’ back as he made his return to Williams-Brice Stadium. One of those most upset with the wideout’s transfer was defensive back Nick Emmanwori.
Prior to season’s start, he called him “Judas Wells” in an online post. Lane Kiffin responded by turning the interaction into a graphic tee!

Shots fired!
Lane Kiffin has a notorious history with South Carolina dating back to his recruitment of another Gamecocks star, Alshon Jeffery. The Juice Wells saga only added to the animosity!
Kiffin made sure to provide more ammo for the fanbase to send his way the next time these two teams meet.

Ole Miss has bragging rights for now! The Gamecocks are scheduled to travel to Oxford next season.
