Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Walker Buehler, who is set to take the mound for Game 3 against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday night, was robbed recently while attending the famed Santa Anita Park horse racing track.

Buehler had a luxury watch worth over $100,000 taken off his arm while attending the inaugural California Crown races with his wife McKenzie and teammate Jack Flaherty.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man and recovered a pair of watches valued at $100,000 for one and $250,000 for another. They did not say which one was Buehler’s, according to ESPN.

Buehler, 29, struggled mightily this season in his first year back after Tommy John Surgery. He posted a 1-6 record and a 5.38 ERA over 16 regular season starts.

The Dodgers, meanwhile, head to San Diego with the National League Division Series tied at 1-1 after a 10-2 loss in Game 2.

That game also featued several flashpoints. The first involved fans throwing items at Padres outfield Jurickson Profar. The second involved Padres third baseman Manny Machado and Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.

Machado tossed a ball into the Dodgers dugout after warmups in between innings. Roberts claimed it was done with intent.

There was intent behind it,” Roberts said. “It didn’t almost hit me because there was a net. And that was very bothersome. If it was intended at me, I would be very —it’s pretty disrespectful.

“I don’t know his intent. I don’t want to speak for him. But I did see the video. And the ball was directed at me with something behind it.”

Video of the incident shows Machado lightly throwing the ball in the direction of the dug. It bounced three times before hitting a screen in front of the Los Angeles dugout.

Machado, however, claims there was no ill intent behind the throw and that it was no different than how he typically returns a ball to the dugout.
