Retired UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal is currently a full-time fight promoter and has learned a few things along the way from UFC promoter Dana White.
On September 8th, Masvidal’s GameBred Bareknuckle MMA promotion is hosting a fight card featuring ex-UFC champions Fabricio Werdum and Junior Dos Santos that will air live for free on the GameBred MMA Youtube channel.
According to Masvidal, he hasn’t had many conversations with White about the promotion business but has learned a thing or two from picking the UFC President’s brain over the years.
“I’ve talked to Dana, picking his brain and things like that. We haven’t. We haven’t got that too much into it, which I’m always going to be ears, because I think he’s one of the greatest promoters that ever lived.
“Dana has always been himself, which is like number one, and be relentless and know how to take an L and then bounce back from it. These are things that that I feel I’ve seen before…He’s always been relentless
