Senior Bowl MVP Jack Bech hauled in the game-winning touchdown pass for the American team on Saturday in walk-off fashion. He did so while donning his late brother’s jersey number.

Bech believes his guardian angel was with him every step of the way in that performance. He was seen breaking down alongside family members after the fact.

The wideout looked to boost his NFL Draft stock in Mobile this week after spending the last two seasons at TCU. As a senior, he hauled in 62 receptions for 1,034 yards and nine scores.

His production helped the Horned Frogs win nine games in 2024 led by an offense that ranked 25th in the nation in scoring (33.5 ppg). He didn’t disappoint in his pre-draft audition.

At the Senior Bowl, Jack Bech recorded six catches for 68 yards. With his team trailing by three points with just seven seconds on the clock, he came through.

Memphis passer Seth Henigan found Bech for a two-yard touchdown pass as time expired. The score lifted the American team to a 22-19 win.

You’ll notice that Bech is wearing a No. 7 jersey in that video as opposed to his typical No. 18 seen with TCU. It represented a way for him to honor his brother and keep his legacy living on.

Tiger Bech played football at Princeton from 2016-18. He was tragically killed in the New Orleans attack one month ago.

“Man, it’s simple,” Jack Bech said after the game, referencing his sibling. “My brother had some wings on me. He gave it to me, and he let that all take place.”

He was visibly emotional after the game. The pass catcher was seen celebrating the moment with family as he remembered Tiger.

The performance was a powerful one given what the wideout’s been through. He was more than deserving of that MVP honor. He hopes to soon hear his name called in the upcoming NFL Draft. Bech is currently viewed as a late-round selection.
