ESPN wants everyone to know that Angel Reese had a historically bad shooting night. Since joining the WNBA, Reese has been criticized for being terrible at shooting layups.
On Thursday night, Reese struggled mightily under the rim and missed four straight layups in less than 15 seconds during the Sky’s blowout loss to the Liberty.

Reese had such a bad shooting night that ESPN sent fans a push notification to tell them how bad she was.
“Angel Reese goes 0-7 from within four feet of the basket to tie most misses from that distance in WNBA over past ten seasons”

Earlier this year, WNBA legend Lisa Leslie vowed to help Reese improve her layup shooting.
“The biggest advice I have for you is going to be how you shoot your lay-ups. We’re going to fix that – it’s fixable for you. You’re going to get better, and I can help you get better.” Lisa told Reese during a podcast appearance.

It might be time for Reese to call Leslie because her layup skills are not improving.
