After the game, Clark explained her hard foul on Reese.
“It’s just a good take foul. Either Angel gets wide open 2 points or we send them to the free throw line. Nothing malicious about it…Every basketball player knows that.”

Clark would later promise to pay Aliyah Boston’s fine for getting a technical foul while protecting her from Reese.
Aliyah Boston was not aware she was given a technical foul when she stepped in front of Angel Reese.
“Wait, what? AB got the tech? Ohhh NO!”
*later turns to Caitlin about the fine* “can I get half?”
