This month, Voodoo Ranger announced the creation of a Roulette IPA pack with Malört. Naturally, we had to get our hands on it. So, I took a quick road trip down from Milwaukee to Chicago this past weekend to attend the first Roulette IPA party. TLDR: it was a perfect party filled with punk rock, a healthy dose of chaos, and plenty of Malört faces.

First off, The Empty Bottle in Chicago was the perfect venue for this event. Nothing beats the energy of live music and a crowd all too eager to get into the mosh pit. Voodoo Ranger and Malört were in the building with samples of the beer and wheels to spin and win sweet merch (and free shots of Malört). Attendees for the show that night were eager to try the Roulette IPA. Maybe a little too eager, but hey, Chicagoans aren’t afraid of Malört. I’d love to see some trendy influencers in New York or LA put on a brave face trying this Windy City delicacy.

Also, shout out Jenna from Vichcraft doing custom chainstitch embroidery all night who made this Voodoo Ranger bandana for me:

If you get a chance to go to one of these parties, do it. The beer might divide the room, but the immaculate vibes and good times will bring everyone together.

About Voodoo Ranger X Malört Roulette IPA

Voodoo Ranger x Malort

It’s pretty simple: each Roulette Pack contains four cans of Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA and two cans of an exclusive Malört-style IPA. The challenge? All the cans are identical, so you’ll never know what you’re gonna get until you take a sip.

The next time you need to bring beer to a party, bring the Roulette Pack, give it a spin, and watch the chaos unfold.

Be sure to record your friend’s “Malört face,” post it on Instagram, and tag @VoodooRanger and @JeppsonsMalort.

The limited-edition Roulette IPA Packs will be gone soon, but here’s how you can bring the mayhem home: if you’re feeling bold, grab a bottle of Malört and a pack of Voodoo Ranger to create your own round of roulette for a little DIY chaos.
