Richest man in the world Elon Musk was taking numerous drugs at the time of his endorsement of President Trump, according to reports. Furthermore, his frequent use of ketamine reportedly caused him to lose control of his bladder.

According to a new bombshell report from the New York Times, published in the wake of the controversial billionaire officially departing the Trump administration after just a few months and hundreds of negative headlines, Elon Musk was taking ketamine, ecstasy, mushrooms, Adderall, and other pills when he endorsed President Trump in 2024.

Musk, who would reportedly travel with the aforementioned drugs and a daily medication box that held “about 20 pills,” was apparently taking so much Ketamine — something that has been long suspected of him — that it was affecting his ability to urinate.

“Ketamine bladder” is a known side-effect of frequent ketamine users. According to the National Institute of Health, ketamine bladder is a “clinical syndrome associated with chronic usage includes a small, very painful bladder, frequency, incontinence, haematuria, upper tract obstruction and papillary necrosis.

“Mr. Musk’s drug consumption went well beyond occasional use. He told people he was taking so much ketamine, a powerful anesthetic, that it was affecting his bladder, a known effect of chronic use. He took Ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms. And he traveled with a daily medication box that held about 20 pills, including ones with the markings of the stimulant Adderall, according to a photo of the box and people who have seen it.”

The New York Times’ report adds that when he publicly endorsed Trump in July of 2024, he was similarly using so much ketamine that it was affecting his bladder.

“Around that time [publicly endorsing Donald Trump in July], Mr. Musk told people that his ketamine use was causing bladder issues, according to people familiar with the conversations.”

While the New York Times does not specify what Musk’s specify what Musk’s bladder issues were, the phenomenon known as “ketamine bladder,” or ketamine-induced cystitis, is known to cause an increase urgency and frequency of urination even when their bladder is not full. As the damage progresses, users made experience sudden and uncontrollable urges to urinate.

As such, it’s likely that Musk was peeing uncontrollably at the time of his Trump endorsement and potentially beyond.
