A longtime former employee of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has testified that he kidnapped her to the home of rapper Scott ‘Kid Cudi’ Mescudi with the intent to kill him. Combs is currently on trial for multiple federal charges and faces a maximum of life in prison if convicted.

According to reports out of Diddy’s federal trial in New York City, Capricorn Clark, a longtime employee of the disgraced rapper and producer, accused Combs of kidnapping her at gunpoint and bringing her to the home Kid Cudi. Clark alleges the incident occured in December 2011, with Combs appearing at her home in Los Angeles around 5:30 a.m.

Cudi had previously singer Cassie, who is one of Diddy’s most high-profile victims. Previous reports indicated Combs allegedly blew up Cudi’s car over his relationship with Cassie.

“’He was pacing,’ Clark said, ‘He was furious.’ She described Combs as wearing a white button-down shirt and business slacks that were split open at the crotch. He was holding a gun. Clark said she told Combs she didn’t want to go, but he was ‘livid’ and had a gun tucked in his waistband. He told her to exit the apartment and get in the car, where one of his security guards, known as Rubin, sat in the driver’s seat.”

“Clark let Combs into her apartment, and he asked, ‘Who is Scott?,’ to which Clark said, ‘I don’t know a Scott.’ Combs said, ‘Kid Cudi,’ and Clark responded, ‘Oh, Cassie’s friend.’ Then, Clark testified, Combs said, ‘Get dressed, we’re going to go kill this n—-.'” [via Variety]

Clark testified that when she, Diddy, and Rubin arrived at Cudi’s home, the two men went inside, which gave her the opportunity to use her burner phone to call and warn Cassie, who was with Cudi at the time. Kid Cudi testified earlier in the trial that his home was broken into in December 2011, and that the perpetrators unwrapped Christmas presents and left his dog behind a closed door.

Despite warnings from Clark and Cassie not to, Cudi then drove to his home “pulled his car up next to Combs’ black Escalade and then zoomed away, and Combs drove after him.”

“Clark said they lost Mescudi in the chase, and they regrouped at a nightclub on Sunset Boulevard, where Combs called Ventura. Combs allegedly demanded that Clark and Ventura convince Mescudi not to name him in a police report, saying, ‘If you don’t convince him of that, I’ll kill all you motherf——.'”

In September 2024, Diddy was arrested in a New York City hotel by Homeland Security agents on multiple federal charges, including racketeering, trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. After his arrest, he was denied bail and taken to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he’s been since his trial began earlier this month. If found guilty, he faces a maximum of life in prison.

Alongside his multiple federal charges, the 55-year-old Combs has also named as a defendant in more than 60 lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct. He has denied all of the allegations made against him.
